A service plan is there to cover your car’s scheduled services at approved dealerships, and includes the labour, parts, and items like oil filters and spark plugs. What is a Maintenance Plan?  

The maintenance plan is all-inclusive and provides cover against mechanical and electrical issues as well as wear-and-tear items, like wiper blades and brake pads. This also includes servicing. It is more expensive than a service plan and/or warranty but provides total peace of mind motoring.

What is a Mechanical Warranty?  

A Mechanical Warranty provides peace of mind in case something goes wrong, mechanically or electronically. It provides cover for major mechanical and/or electrical failures to your vehicle. Some of the components covered include the engine, gearbox, clutch, braking system, transmission and electrical parts.

With a Mechanical Warranty, roadside assist forms part of the package.

What does a Mechanical Warranty cover?  

Mechanical warranty covers all major components, including the engine, gearbox, clutch, braking system, transmission and electrical parts. You also enjoy additional benefits such as towing and roadside assistance.

What does Scratch and Dent insurance cover?  

Scratch and Dent cover pays for the repair of minor damage to your vehicle caused by everyday driving, allowing you to maintain your car and have it looking as good as new.

Our Exterior plan covers minor external damage to your vehicle, like bumper and mirror scuffs, shopping trolley scratches and more, so you never need to worry about chips, dents or scratches. This plan even covers tar spots and damage to rims.

Are alternators covered under a Mechanical Warranty?  

Yes, alternators are covered under warranty, however, claim validity is dependent on the claims process.

How long does it take to get a quote?

Where do I get my VIN number?  

It’s easy! Just take a photo of your licence disc which will have all your vehicle details like VIN number, registration number, Engine number, etc displayed on the licence disc.

How do I claim?  

You can claim by completing an online form on our website. No need to call in to the call centre, you provide all the details of your claim online.

What is Tyre and Rim cover?  

Tyre and Rim cover helps you avoid unexpected expenses by covering your tyres and rims against damage caused by road hazards such as potholes and debris on the road surface. We will replace your damaged tyre and/or rim with a brand new one if it cannot be repaired.

Plus, awesome extra benefits are included, like free puncture repair, free tyre rotation, free wheel balancing and free wheel alignment.

Does the Maintenance Plan cover brake discs?  

Yes, brake discs are covered by the maintenance plan within normal wear and tear parameters.

Does a Mechanical Warranty cover a battery?  

Unfortunately, a mechanical warranty does not cover a vehicle battery as it is considered a "wear and tear item".
